Since you are running the program from the desktop, it is trying to find files that can no longer be found where it thinks they should be. The FNIS program uses relative program referencing using the 'tool' folder it creates in the Data folder as the starting location (my assumption). The problem is that Windows doesn't create shortcuts the same way as a Mac, and instead of creating a shortcut I COPIED the entire program onto the desktop. Short story, I created a 'shortcut' on my desktop before running the program. I encountered this myself, and looking at the post above I can see that you probably did the same thing I did. ![]()
